Thank you for visiting the Institute for Public Management and Community Service (IPMCS) website. Your privacy is very important to us. Simply stated, we do not collect personal information about you when you visit the IPMCS website unless you choose to make such information available to us.
When you visit the IPMCS site, the University’s web server automatically recognizes only the Internet domain and IP address from which you accessed the site. This information does not result in the identification of your personal email address or other personal information.
In addition, information is only gathered regarding the volume and timing of access to the site by collecting information on the date, time and pages you visited while at the site. This is done so that the content of the site can be improved, and your personal information is not identified or shared with other organizations.
If you choose to share personal information with us, such as by subscribing to an e-newsletter, sending a message, or filling out an electronic form with personal information, the information will be saved for a designated period of time in order to comply with the state of Florida’s archiving policies. However, information will not be disclosed to third parties or other government agencies, unless required by state or federal law. Please note that Florida’s public records law requires that all information received in connection with state business be made available to anyone upon request, unless the information is subject to a specific statutory exemption. If you do not want your email address disclosed as a public record, please contact the University via telephone or by U.S. mail.
Payment, Refund, and Transfer Policy
The on-line registration form for the particular conference and/or event must be submitted no later than five (5) business days prior to the commencement of the conference or event.
Failure to submit the on-line registration form within five (5) business days prior to the commencement of the conference or event will result in a $50 late fee being assessed in addition to the conference/event fee.
Payments are accepted by either: Credit or Check Card; Cashier’s Check; Traveler’s check or Bank Wire Transfer (No Institutional or Personal Checks will be accepted).
Cash payments will only be accepted on the day of the conference or event. No cash payments will be accepted prior to the date of the conference or event.
Refunds and Cancellations:
75% of the conference or event fee will be refunded if the cancellation is made no later than 15 days prior to the commencement of the conference or event.
The conference or event registration fee is nonrefundable after the 15-day period. Deadline dates can be found on the sites of the particular conference or event.
Cancellation requests must be emailed to: email@example.com. No telephone, U.S. Mail or any other method of cancellation will be accepted.
Failure to submit the refund request in a timely manner or in the method described above waives any claims you may have had for a refund of your payment.
IPMCS will not reschedule any conferences or events, nor refund any of the fees related to conferences or events that are cancelled by IPMCS due to emergencies or for weather related reasons.
The registration fee for any of the conferences or events cannot be transferred to another person or cannot be used for another event.
