Viviana Quintero was born in Bogota, Colombia and has lived in Miami for the past twenty-four years. She is currently working on her Bachelor’s Degree at FIU in Sociology. She previously worked at IPMCS and since then has helped in simultaneous interpretation and putting together the Annual Interamerican Conference on Mayors and Local Authorities. She joined the Institute again in 2013 and has helped in developing the Center for Democracy and Good Governance. She has experience in political campaigns and community service through more than a decade of volunteer work with nonprofit organizations, of which she is also a member of the Board of Directors.
